Fire - Conventional Systems
Conventional fire detection systems are used in risks that are smaller and less complicated or as a system that is within a system such as a fire suppression detection system. This system consists of detectors, such as point smoke and heat detectors, linear heat detectors and smoke beams, sounders, beacons, interfaces and manual call points. Each device is selected to ensure the system meets the requirements of the British standards and/or good engineering practice.
